Bailey Senator Wyoming S6 Used Caravan

£10,250   12 MONTHS WARRANTY

4 Berth · Twin Axle · Fixed Double Bed With Rear Washroom Layout · 2009

This Bailey Senator Wyoming is a series 6 model. The exterior condition of this caravan is very good and a credit to previous owners. The interior is also of the same high standard and shows very little wear and tear. As you will notice from the photographs the caravan has a twin section Hartel exterior door ( stable door ) with double glazed window and blinds. This caravan also comes with an Avtex TV and a PowrTouch Motor Mover ( please note: The TV and the Motor mover are not included in the warranty ).

The Front Lounge
The seating in the front lounge has remained comfortable and the fabric is in very good condition. Both seats are the same length and measure 182cm each. At night this area can be made into a bedroom area with a double bed ( 6' 10" x 4' 2" ) or alternatively two single beds ( 1 @ 5' 9" x 2' 3" and 1 @ 6' 1" x 2' 3" ). To make this task easier and more practical, there is an easy bed make-up system to aid this process ( see photograph ). This is an array of wooden slats that pulls out from under the two drawer cabinet to provide support for the beds. It is as easy to put away as it it to pull-out.

Between the seats is the two drawer cabinet which has the now, expected occasional table pull-out / push back facility - very handy for newspapaers, cups of tea and just makes enjoying the space so much more likely.

With respect to storage, there are 6 overhead lockers with two small open shelving units in between. There is also storage beneath the 2 drawer cabinet and of course storage beneath the seats. Access to this space can be obtained by removing the seat cushions and lifting the slatted frame, however you can also get access via the doors on the front of the seats.

The front lounge area has a good size rooflight above, which combines with the surrounding windows to provide plenty of natural daylight. Of course, on hot days the rooflight and windows also provide a means of ventilation, enabling you to relax in the lounge and enjoy your holiday. As you will see from the photographs there is the typical two drawer cabinet separating the seats, with an easy access, occasional table that slides out from the top ( see photographs ).

There is a good sized rooflight overhead and this combines nicely with the surrounding windows to provide plenty of natural daylight into the lounge. Of course all have integrated blinds and flyscreens to make them versatile to use and the windows have easy glide curtains.

Night-time lighting for the lounge comes from the four directional spotlights and the four fixed spotlights which are arranged on the ceiling around the rooflight.

The Kitchen
The kitchen has all the utilities you will need, but would benefit from a worktop extension flap. The stainless steel sink ( see photograph ) has a reasonable amount of workspace around it and shares some of this with the Spinflo four burner hob which is in good condition ( see photograph ). Inspecting the oven and grill you find that they are also in very good condition ( see photograph ). They come with electronic ignition and a flame failure device. For perishables there is the Dometic 115 litre fridge again with electronic ignition and a detachable full width freezer compartment ( the fridge capacity increases to 122 litres when the freezer compartment is removed ). This is a handy feature - some people cannot live without a freezer compartment whilst others say they never use it and would like the extra fridge space - this feature gives you the ability to choose. Finally, on the opposite side of the caravan is the Daewoo microwave ( see photograph ).

Kitchen storage comes via two overhead locker cupboards, an open corner shelf unit and a cupboard unit below the worktop that has several wire framed storage baskets and a cutlery tray at the top. These pull out for easy access ( see photograph ).

Daylight to the kitchen comes via the central window behind the hob and sink and there is a medium sized roofvent overhead to reduce moisture and the build-up of condensation. For nightime lighting there is a striplight over the worktop and a main central ceiling mounted light.

The Fixed Double Bedroom
Caravans like the Wyoming are often termed 'a luxury two berth' as they offer couples the convenience a fixed bedroom; doing away with the need to make a bed up every night and pack it all away in the morning. This bedroom gives a good sized double bed ( 6' 4" x 4' 6" ). The bedroom has overhead lockers, shelving units plus a large wardrobe style cupboard with hanging rail and further storage to the right of that ( see photograph ).

For daylight this bedroom has a wide window either side of the caravan and a medium sized rooflight. Night lighting is provided by the two directional spotlights plus a main ceiling light.

The bedroom can be seperated from the front of the caravan via the folding room separator ( see photograph ).

The WC / Shower Room
A pretty good washroom for space in general, this washroom also has a good sized, roomy shower cubicle with bi-folding doors. There is also a vent in the cubicle to reduce the build up of moisture and condensation. Another nice touch is the linen basket in the corner - this has a removable inner lining so that clothes can be taken out easily. Standard equipment includes the Thetford Swivel C-250 cassette toilet with electric flush and integrated header tank plus the washbasin with single mixer tap and storage cupboard beneath.

Daylight comes from the large window behind the washbasin and for night-time lighting there are two fixed spotlights and a main ceiling light.

The TV Station Area
Immediately on your right as you enter the caravan and sensibly positioned to serve both the lounge area and the bedroom, the TV station area departs somewhat from the typical arrangement of a TV connection point, 12 volt and mains power connection points. Instead it has a TV wall mounted bracket that is actually on a swivelling board. This can be rotated so that the TV can be viewed either from the lounge or the bedroom ( see photograph ). The caravan does come with an Avtex TV which has the correct bracket and is ready to use ( please note the TV is not included in the warranty ).
Used caravans from PENROSE TOURING come with a 12 month warranty for peace of mind.

Hi Dick
I had a 36 months gold package with them and made a claim for a repair in France.
They paid 80% of the bill which was over 1100 euro.
In my book that was good value

Hi Glandwr.
I have had very good experiences with this company 3 years ago. Firstly, the power steering rack failed. One phone call to MB&G. I was asked where I would like to have it done, which was our local garage in Gretna. They then contacted the gararage. All I had to do was to sit and wait a few days until it was done.Brilliant!

Next was the kitchen tap which went in France--quick phone call to MB&G--kept receipt and was re-imbursed within 4 days of being back home. The integral bike rack hinges failed. It was repaired by Peter Hambilton, who did a brilliant job. Again, just a quick phone call to MB&G,and everything was sorted. I would only hope they are still as good now as they were then. I couldn't fault them. The warranty was in with the price of the van,so I can't say how much it cost but as the van was 10 yrs old I wanted some form of assurance for that 1st year. Incidentally,it's needed nothing since, other than basic service items. You can only speak as you find, but for me they were vey good.
