3 Berth · Fixed Dining Area · 2015 · AL-KO AKS 3004 Stabiliser · AL-KO ATC System · Truma Solar Panel · Vision Plus VP3 Signal Booster · Vision Plus Status 550 Digital Aerial

It would be a reasonable expectation that a 2015 caravan was in excellent condition and that is exactly what this caravan is. The interior and exterior are as if you had bought a brand new caravan and with a used caravan that is this new, that is pretty much what you would be doing. As this is a 3 berth caravan, it has lots of luxurious room. The roof-mounted Truma solar panel is fitted as standard and will help topping-up battery life / power. Other key Unicorn features include a vertical skylight, an Al-Ko portable wheel lock, a Tracker system, a Vision Plus VP3 TV / Radio signal booster that is harnessed to a Vision Plus Status 550 telescopic directional digital aerial.

The Lounge
The front lounge area is pleasantly light and airy due to the overhead roof light, the large front vertical panoramic window and the remaining surrounding windows. Bailey have intergrated the two drawer cabinet that seperates the seats with a shelve at the very front of the caravan - this provides an excellent position for a TV - and a TV connection point and mains socket is provided for this purpose. Further storage cupboards are provided overhead and there is a of course storage for bedding beneath the seats. You will see from the photos that the JVC CD player / DAB radio and speakers are situated in the two uppermost corners.

At night this area can be made into a bedroom with a double bed measuring 6' 2" x 6' 6". Night-time lighting is provided by 4 directional spotlights which have individual switches and 7 small inset lights. Curtains are on easy glide rails so opening and closing them at night or in the morning is easy.

The Kitchen
The kitchen has a practical, central position in the caravan and is sensibly directly opposite the dining area. As well as the seperate oven and 4 burner hob ( 3 gas plus an electric hotplate - in a nice clean condition ) there is also a microwave provided for cooking. The large capacity fridge is very practical as is the freezer section to the top. The cupboard above the fridge is very useful but the one below is taken up by the fuse box. If you require more worktop space whilst preparing meals then there is a sprung hinge flap extension for this purpose. ( see photographs ). The kitchen has a very practical array of cupboards, shelves and drawers for various storage needs including one beneath the oven for baking trays and similar items.

The Dining Area
As in most caravans, this area is sensibly positioned directly opposite the kitchen area and provides convenience at mealtimes ( see photographs ). When used for sleeping purposes this area provides a bed the size of which is 6' 4" x 2' 4". Night lighting for this area is provided by 2 directional spotlights. There is also a rooflight that combines with the windows to give an even amount of light during the day.

The Rear Washroom / Shower Room
The WC / Shower room is to the rear of the caravan and Bailey have provided quite a good amount of space for toweling yourself down after a shower. The shower cubicle itself is also of a good size and features the popular EcoCamel shower head - a water efficient shower head that saves you money. There is a handy linen basket to the right of the washbasin and 3 other cupboards provide plenty of storage space.

TV Station Area
Additional to the TV connection point in the front lounge this area has a second connection point. The large cupboard beneath provides ample storage for DVD's and games consoles that will connect to the TV. Being positioned more centrally in the caravan it means that the TV can be viewed from the dining area if preferred. Both TV connection points are linked up to the Vision Plus VP3 signal booster ( as is the JVC radio ) and on the roof you will find the Vision Plus Status 550 telescopic digital aerial.

Other Features
A tall cupboard with hanging rail for those clothes that are more prone to creasing and need to be stored on hangers is situated just to the right of the fridge ( just before you enter the WC / Shower room.

Hi Dick
I had a 36 months gold package with them and made a claim for a repair in France.
They paid 80% of the bill which was over 1100 euro.
In my book that was good value

Hi Glandwr.
I have had very good experiences with this company 3 years ago. Firstly, the power steering rack failed. One phone call to MB&G. I was asked where I would like to have it done, which was our local garage in Gretna. They then contacted the gararage. All I had to do was to sit and wait a few days until it was done.Brilliant!

Next was the kitchen tap which went in France--quick phone call to MB&G--kept receipt and was re-imbursed within 4 days of being back home. The integral bike rack hinges failed. It was repaired by Peter Hambilton, who did a brilliant job. Again, just a quick phone call to MB&G,and everything was sorted. I would only hope they are still as good now as they were then. I couldn't fault them. The warranty was in with the price of the van,so I can't say how much it cost but as the van was 10 yrs old I wanted some form of assurance for that 1st year. Incidentally,it's needed nothing since, other than basic service items. You can only speak as you find, but for me they were vey good.
