Avtex L248DRS TV

The innovative ultra slim framed Avtex L248DRS TV / DVD / PVR combi with built-in DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 has been updated for the 2017 / 2018 season, replacing the previous L247DRS model. 

New features include:-

• An on screen Signal strength meter to determine the best reception for your TV and aerial
• A battery voltage indicator to allow you to see your 12 volt battery level on the TV
• Fully multi standard working in all European countries
• An aluminium table top stand with Avtex etched logo.

This television will allow anyone to appreciate high definition television programs acquired via your aerial or a satellite dish, with no need for an additional decoder box. The practical and contemporary style and design means the L248DRS provides an outstanding 24 inch display screen but has overall measurements typical of a 21.5 inch model. The all brand new Avtex DRS range sets a new standard in mobile portable entertainment.

• The outstanding build quality of Avtex Televisions means they stand up well to the rigours of constant movement, vibrations and changes in humidity and temperature and therefore provide years of reliable service.
• Low Power Consumption - because Avtex use the highest grade ( A+ ) LCD screen with an LED back light, the television has a very low power consumption rating ( B ) and can operate from 10v-30v making it suitable for use in trucks and horseboxes as well as motorhomes and caravans.
• Easy To Set Up - Avtex have developed their AQT ( Avtex Quick Tuning System ) to make the setup of this television as easy as possible. Simply hold down the AQT button on the remote handset for 3 seconds and the TV will automatically tune itself in.

• Superb Picture Quality - Unlike many televisions by competitors that are only "HD Ready", Avtex's L188DRS actually has a built-in HD tuner (DVB-T2) for Freeview in High Definition ( subject to location / local broadcast ) and a DVB-S2 receiver for High Definition satellite reception ( a separate satellite dish is required ). As well as giving you additional HD channels to view, the combination of high definition with Avtex's LED back lit screen gives a beatifully crisp, sharp and totally breathtaking picture. The screen also has a wide viewing angle of approximately 170 degrees; this can be so useful in confined viewing spaces.
• Built In DVD Player - as well as playing DVD's other supported disc types include CD's ( CD-DA ), SVCD'S and VCD's. ( Note: 8cm discs are not supported )
• Record Programs - by connecting a USB Memory Stick or an external USB Hard Drive you can record or pause Live TV. However, this television also has EPG ( Electronic Programme Guide ) and you can use this to set timer recordings - no need to miss your favourite program just because you are out enjoying yourself - watch it when you come back.

  Freeview HD - get a massive range of channel options without any extra boxes or connections with Freeview HD. The system is a free-to-air digital service that comes already built into your TV.
• High Definition Satellite Reception - the Avtex L218DRS comes with a DVB-S2 receiver for high definition satellite reception but a separate satellite dish is required.
• CI ( Common Interface ) slot - enables you to fit what is known as a CAM ( Conditional Access Module ) into which you fit a smart card in order to be able to view pay TV Channels and additional services.

• USB x 2 - use these ports to connect a USB Memory Stick or an external hard drive and give yourself the ability to record or pause live TV and timer scheduled recordings. You can also use these ports to read inforamation from the USB device. So for example if you have photographs as jpegs or MPeg2 files on a USB Memory stick you can view them using this television.
• HDMI x 2 ( High-Definition Multimedia Interface ) - many devices including notebooks, tablets and mobile phones can now connect to this high definition television via the HDMI port. If you have been out for the day and shot a video using your mobile phone why not grab a meal, sit back and enjoy watching it on the television - just make sure you have the correct lead with you!
• Phono (Composite Video) - enables connectivity by devices that do not have HDMI outputs.
