Caravan Description - A Walk Through
The Bailey Pegasus Palermo GT70 is one of just two 5 berth caravans in the Bailey Pegasus GT70 range. The other 5 berth caravan is the shorter, single axle, Ancona GT70. Comparing them with each other you will see that both the front lounge and the rear bedroom with en-suite are essentially the same in terms of both size and layout - it is the middle kitchen section that differs, with the Pelermo offering a bit more kitchen space.
The Palermo has fixed twin bunk beds, a side dinette on the opposite side ( this of course doubles up as a sleeping area at night if required - see the difference between the daytime and night-time layouts in our picture gallery ) and an end washroom. It is ideally suited to a middle or larger sized family.
The front lounge benefits from the distinctive large, vertical panoramic skylight window. This combines with the other surrounding windows and the rooflight above to produce a wonderfully light and airy living space that can be enjoyed by all on any holiday. Of course, just as important, is the ability to cut out the light effectively when using the lounge as a sleeping area. To this end, the skylights and windows have Remis pleated blinds. They also have flyscreens so that you can open them for ventilation on hot summer days, but stop annoying insects from entering and disturbing your relaxation.
If you are specifically interested in a 5 berth caravan, with fixed bunks and a dinette then you should also take a look at the Bailey Pursuit 560-5.
