Caravan Description - A Walk Through
The Bailey Phoenix 650 is a five berth caravan with bunk beds, a dinette and a rear washroom. It is the only five berth in the Phoenix range.
Viewing the caravan from front to back, the bunk beds are on the left hand side - the offside ( the beds measure 6' 1" x 2' 2" ) with the dinette to the right. The dinette area will of course convert to a sleeping area at night ( bed size: 6' 2" x 2' 3" ). When further sleeping space is required the front lounge area can be converted to a sleeping area at night. The Phoenix 650 will provide either a double bed measuring 6' 2" x 4' 7" or alternatively two single beds measuring 5' 11" x 2' 1".
An 'easy bed make up system' is provided. This is an array of wooden slats that pulls out from under the 2 drawer cabinet and glides on rails along the length of the seats. It just helps converting the area into a sleeping area or converting it back to the lounge. ( Note: the image of the nighttime layout only shows the double bed layout ). Naturally, all windows, skylights and rooflights have integrated blinds to cut out light and provide a darkened room ready for sleeping in.
A Feature To Mention
Almost a decade ago, Bailey caravans introduced the Alu-Tech Bodyshell, a significant departure from the conventional method of caravan construction that had remained unchanged for the previous three decades. The Alu-Tech Bodyshell provides increased strength and durability, improved insulation, improved protection, lighter caravans and better balanced caravans.
