Dometic Limpet Fix Kit ( 9120000424 )

The Dometic Limpet Fix Kit provides an excellent method of attaching your awning to your caravan or motorhome ( Please Note: The Limpet system only works with vehicles that have smooth, flat walls ). The Limpets can also be used to fix Wheel Arch Covers and / or Draught skirts. An excellent advantage of the Limpet System is the simple fact that there is no need to drill holes or modify your vehicle. As you will see from the images it gives a neat, tidy finish that also improves draughtproofing as well. 

Many Kampa Awnings / Dometic Awnings and Kampa / Dometic Motorhome Awnings are ready to use with the Limpet Kit as they have pre-cut holes ( look for the Limpet Ready Sign' ). However, if you already own a Kampa awning and it is not 'Limpet Fit Ready' then it is still possible to use them. To do this you will need to punch some 8mm diameter holes in your awning - Kampa have a Limpet Hole Punch for this purpose. 

Using the Limpets is easy and straight forward. Simply attach the Limpet through the pre-cut holes or the holes you have prepared ( typically there will be four each side but you can use more ) in the rear of the awning and fasten to a smooth caravan surface. The surface needs to be smooth because it uses suction to grip to the vehicle - it will not work with caravans and motorhomes that have a rippled or dappled surface.

Dispatching Your Order

In the vast majority of cases, because products are generally available from stock, your order will be dispatched earlier than this.
