The Kampa range of awnings for both Motorhomes and Campervans has grown substantially and now offers considerable choice. Without doubt the range devides itself into two distinct and obvious types.
Kampa Motorhome Air Awnings
This range of Kampa Motorhome Awnings use 'airpoles' instead of the traditional steel or fibreglass poles. The use of airpoles (also known as airbeams) gives a number of advantages. It is not unheard of for traditional poles to break in adverse weather conditions and subsequently damage the vehicle the awning is attached to. This is not the case with airpoles - which also have a natural give in these conditions. Airframe awnings are easy to setup & take down - you don't have to carry or even look for poles; they are always with the awning and with Kampa's one point inflation system they are even easier to setup and take down. Airframe awnings are lighter meaning less weight to transport and less to lug around on-site.
