Kampa Rally Air Pro 330
Part of the Rally Air Pro series, the Rally Air Pro 330 is towards the larger end of the range but is not the largest. With a width of 3.3 metres and a depth of 2.5 metres the awning provides approximately 8.25 square metres of extra space to your caravan.
The Kampa Air Pro range is supplied with curtains to the front windows. The curtains glide on Kampa's easy slide track for easy convenient operation.
What are the main differences between the Rally Air and the Rally Air Pro series?
The significant difference between the two ranges is the main awning fabric. The Pro series uses a more substantial, heavier duty fabric called Weathershield Pro which provides excellent weatherproofing and extra durability. If you pitch your awning for longer periods of the year or during times of the year when the weather is likely to require a more robust awning then it would probably make sense to consider the Kampa Rally Air Pro series. The other difference to mention is that curtains are only provided on the Pro series.
What main features do the Rally Air and the Rally Air Pro series share?
They are quick and easy to setup - the awning can be can be completely set up in four to five minutes approximately and pumps up, using the manual pump supplied, in around sixty seconds (depending on your fitness, determination and competitiveness!). It uses Kampa's patented inflation system. It can be inflated from just one inflation point. Other features that are common to both ranges are the use of Crystal clear windows, ventilation in the eaves, both ranges are fitted with Kampa's Accessory Track and both are provided with draught skirts.
The main material that the awning is made from is important and the Rally Air Pro is no exception. This awning uses Kampa's Weathershield Pro fabric, that is used on a great deal of their awning range. It has a proven track record, with its strong durability and high value weatherproofing. Despite these qualities it remains lightweight and manageable - great for easy set up and handling. Kampa have also made improvements to the UV protection and the coatings to make sure that Weathershield Pro continues to function well as an awning material.
The awning also incorporates another innovation from Kampa - their Dual-Pitch Roof System ( for more information about this see the features tab ).
The awning is what Kampa call 'Limpet Ready', meaning it is ready to accept Kampa's Limpet Fix System. This is clever method of attaching the side walls of the awning to the caravan.
As with all Kampa AIR awnings, the Rally AIR Pro is inflated through a single inflation point. This is a single point from where the entire awning is inflated including all airpoles and beams. This also means that there is only one valve ( on other brands, each of the poles are separate and need to be pumped up individually ).
The Kampa Rally Air Pro 330 is also what Kampa call 'Sabre Link Ready'. The SabreLink Link System provides effective lighting to your awning. You can link up to three light strips together with each strip having 150 LED lights. This is an optional extra.
A unique feature to the Kampa range, the AccessoryTrack adds an extra line of beading running on the inside, parallel with the awning beading that connects the awning to the caravan. This allows for accessories, such as an organiser and hanging rail, to be attached to the awning through the use of a specially designed connection by Kampa.
Other standard features for the Kampa Rally Air Pro 330 included secondary mesh panels on the side doors. These help to keep out unwanted insects whilst providing ventilation to the awning. Kampa's QuickPitch guying system also comes as standard.
