Caravan Description - A Walk Through
There are four, 4 berth caravans in the Bailey Phoenix caravan range. Separated and distinct from the others by it's shorter length is the Phoenix 440. The other three models are all longer and provide variation in terms of layout options. The Bailey Phoenix 642 has a fixed twin single 'galley style' bedroom layout ( bed sizes - both: 6' 2" x 2' 2" ) with a WC / Shower room to the rear.
When further sleeping space is required the front lounge area must be converted to a sleeping area at night. The Phoenix 642 will provide either a double bed measuring 6' 2" x 4' 7" or alternatively two single beds measuring 5' 11" x 2' 1".
An 'easy bed make up system' is provided. This is an array of wooden slats that pulls out from under the 2 drawer cabinet and glides on rails along the length of the seats. It just helps converting the area into a sleeping area or converting it back to the lounge. ( Note: the image of the nighttime layout only shows the double bed layout ). Naturally, all windows, skylights and rooflights have integrated blinds to cut out light and provide a darkened room ready for sleeping in.
A Feature To Mention
Almost a decade ago, Bailey caravans introduced the Alu-Tech Bodyshell, a significant departure from the conventional method of caravan construction that had remained unchanged for the previous three decades. The Alu-Tech Bodyshell provides increased strength and durability, improved insulation, improved protection, lighter caravans and better balanced caravans.
