Caravan Description - A Walk Through
Most caravan ranges come with a two berth option and the Bailey Phoenix range is no exception. The Bailey Phoenix 420 is the 'baby' in the range and as such it is the only 2 berth caravan in the Phoenix range. This makes it absolutely perfect for the touring couple and for those who either choose not to pull a large caravan or those who cannot tow a large caravan due to the capabilities of the vehicle they own.
Naturally, the overall length of the caravan does not allow for a fixed bedroom. This means that the front lounge area must be converted to a sleeping area at night. The Phoenix 420 will provide either a double bed measuring 6' 2" x 4' 9" or alternatively two single beds measuring 6' 1" x 2' 1". An 'easy bed make up system' is provided. This is an array of wooden slats that pulls out from under the 2 drawer cabinet and glides on rails along the length of the seats. It just helps converting the area into a sleeping area or converting it back to the lounge. ( Note: the image of the nighttime layout only shows the double bed layout ). Naturally, all windows, skylights and rooflights have integrated blinds to cut out light and provide a darkened room ready for sleeping in.
Being the main living area, the front convertible lounge is the focus of this two-berth model, but it is also complemented by a well equipped side wash room and a rear kitchen.
A Feature To Mention
Almost a decade ago, Bailey caravans introduced the Alu-Tech Bodyshell, a significant departure from the conventional method of caravan construction that had remained unchanged for the previous three decades. The Alu-Tech Bodyshell provides increased strength and durability, improved insulation, improved protection, lighter caravans and better balanced caravans.
